Role description
■About the project
- The department’s mission is to provide solutions that lead to innovations in performance, development efficiency, and speed by utilizing data engineering and data science techniques, and to create new value from data through digitization. It is also responsible for the development of data engineering and data science personnel throughout the R&D organization.
- Involved in a wide range of areas of automotive development, including vehicle design, prototyping, and testing, the company aims to contribute to manufacturing and ultimately to society by providing effective solutions and practical tools through the modeling of events using statistics, machine learning, numerical analysis, and simulation technology in the face of large-scale data that has been increasing on the development and production sites and in the market in recent years.
■Position Responsibilities
- Analyze nationwide vehicle driving data (big data) collected every second.
- Examine and develop data acquisition and storage mechanisms, analysis environments, and implementation methods.
- Perform appropriate preprocessing on diverse, complex, and large data sets, and perform analysis to make predictions and extract useful information.
- Examine prototype after-sales support for customers based on the results of data analysis.
- This position is for R&D development team to identify current issues from close and close communication with engineers and experts in various fields in the target area and solve them using data science.
- We will also ask you to manage projects (selection of development methods and tools, etc.) for continuous development by utilizing your knowledge of CI/CD.
- Preferred Business level English, as the position will also work with the development team in India.
■About the role
-ETL development in Talend
- Analysis of driving data (information extraction and statistical analysis in python)
- Design and study of systems that meet the requirements based on the analysis results.
- Developing of data flow, database, etc.
- ETL development in Talend: ・Analysis of driving data
-Analysis of vehicle driving data ・Extract information in python, check data trends and quality from a statistical viewpoint
■Skills/Experience Required
- Experience with Python, Linux and SQL
- Knowledge of statistics (linear regression, k-nearest neighbor algorithm, k-means clustering)
- Understanding of CI/CD and related tools
- Experience with system administration
- Business level English
■Additional /Experience/Skills
- Experience with large-scale data analysis and cloud computing (AWS), system management and ETL development
