Today, we would like to recap our participation and exhibition of our AI camera at a recent event hosted by our longtime business partner Ericsson.
“Imagine Live Thailand 2022” was a three-day communications technology expo serving as a collaboration platform among telecom industry partners. The objective was to jointly drive Thailand’s digital transformation based on 5G technology.
The event held at the Grand Ballroom of the Sofitel Sukhumvit Hotel gathered key stakeholders from agencies and organizations, both government and private sectors, such as the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in Thailand. We are very grateful to our customer Ericsson for inviting us.

At Imagine Live Thailand 2022, thought leaders discussed best practices from around the globe and shared key insights about Thai’s tech industry. The demonstration area showcased the latest innovations and technologies that could potentially accelerate digitalization in Thailand, drive ecosystem development, upskill new technologies, and drive innovation across industries, government agencies, and academia.
Event attendees could get exclusive insights into the latest solutions within the field of 5G, ranging from Holographic Communication Solutions to Smart Agricultural Technology.
Among these innovative technologies, our Edge AI Camera was presented. Developed by Avinton and customized in close collaboration with Ericsson, the solution plays a major role in an SDGs-centered project. At Imagine Live Thailand 2022, we got a chance to showcase the AI camera’s capabilities and discuss potential use cases with the attendees – such as helping farmers track their crops and optimize yield or increasing the safety of factory shop floors.

The Thai-Swedish Chamber of Commerce congratulated Igor Maurell, Head of Ericsson Thailand, on this successful event, and called the AI camera an “awe-inspiring technology“. Over the next weeks and months, Ericsson will take the AI camera on tour and demonstrate its features at events in India, Malaysia and Australia.
Sweden-based Ericsson is a global leader in 5G networks. To date, the company has supported 130 5G networks in 56 countries. Avinton is proud and grateful for this successful collaboration that drives technological innovation forward and generates value for our society.
