Introduction
We are hiring Infrastructure Engineers! You will be responsible for ensuring the system operations for telecommunication carriers – a hot topic in 5G.
Communicate with developers and customers to coordinate the implementation, integration and verification of telecommunications products.
Work in a global environment that highly values the people. The most important requirement for this position are Japanese and English communication skills (Chinese is a big plus). Even if you do not have much engineering experience, you will expand your technological skillset on the job. The technologies in use are state-of-the-art, so you will be able to acquire highly versatile skills.
Please note: As telecommunication systems are essential infrastructure, this position requires you to work night shifts every 2 or 3 months. A night shift allowance will be offered.

Communicate with developers and customers to coordinate the implementation, integration and verification of telecommunications products.
Key job responsibilities
The products developed locally are verified together with the company’s products at the customer’s testbed in Japan.
- Deployment and integration of local products developed for cellular core network systems
- Bridging function to overseas-based (especially China) development teams and other node teams to resolve issues when progress reports and problems arise.
- Communicate with customers (problem reports, specifications, test plans, scopes, etc.)
- Create a ticket to the developer when a problem occurs
- Prepare and send work reports
Minimum requirements
- Experience in Software Engineering
- Communication in Japanese and English
Preferred:
- Experience working in the telecom industry
- If you can speak Chinese, you can make use of it when communicating with the developers (they are located in China)
- Technical skills are not required (but having development experience will help you understand the workflow more easily)
